Personal Training
DACC members may schedule personal training sessions with Ralph or Joann. If your workout program isn’t meeting your needs or if you think you might benefit from a little one on one instruction, why not schedule time with a professional?
 
Appointments are scheduled at the front desk. You must be a member of The DACC to use personal training services
 $35 per hour -or- $120 per four sessions

Class Descriptions

Winter 2010 Class Descriptions
Abs !!– All abs, all the time. For all fitness levels
Winter Maintenance- Weights, interval training.  Guaranteed to get your heart going and build endurance.
Belly Dancing – Middle Eastern Dance. Movements focus on core and lower body. No previous dance experience needed.  All levels of fitness welcome.
Indoor cycling-  A group fitness experience utilizing LeMond stationary exercise bikes in a setting with lights and music. Not recommended for someone new to exercise.
Interval training – Weights and cardio intervals. All fitness levels welcome.
Kick and Punch – A substantial warm up followed by martial arts based movement.  For intermediate and advanced fitness levels.
Personal training – A workout tailored especially for you. By the half-hour or hour
Pilates – Core strength and flexibility through floor based movement.  All fitness levels 
Welcome Sculpting  - Moderate free weights and higher repetitions for longer, leaner muscles.  All fitness levels welcome.
Power Yoga – A blend of gentle and athletic yoga.  Be prepared to sweat.  Not recommended for beginners. Your own yoga mat is recommended. Wear comfortable clothing. 
Right Start Weight Loss – Twelve weeks  of coaching to help one adopt a healthier lifestyle.  Fitness, nutrition, and behavior modification are included.
Sculpting  - Moderate free weights and higher repetitions for longer, leaner muscles.  All fitness levels welcome.
Spirit, Soul, and Body – Gentle, non impact water based movements to aid in flexibility and aerobic capacity. For gentle fitness levels
Stretch and Tone – Beginner toning (light weights) and gentle stretch for those just starting out or with range of motion difficulties.
Tai Chi – Gentle flowing movement for body and soul alignment.  All fitness levels welcome.
Water Fitness – Easier on the joints than traditional aerobics, but still a vigorous water workout. For all fitness levels
Yoga – Traditional Hatha Yoga with no impact. Increases flexibility and improves circulation.  All fitness levels welcome.
Zumba – Dance party fitness disguised as fun movement done to International music. Join the Party. Shoes should have little tread.
 
Don’t forget to check with your physician BEFORE starting a new exercise program.  Remember a towel and water are recommended for all classes.
